The heart behind Worthy Rebel Ministries lies in the answer to this question: who are you?
Amanda spent years trying to answer this for herself in all the wrong ways. Decades of seeking her worth and identity in relationships, education, her career, and acceptance from the world around her did nothing by way of response. Her efforts had an adverse effect, leaving her more empty than she had been before she began.
Moments after her oldest daughter was born, Amanda gave her life to Jesus. A few years down the road, that daughter asked what her name meant. Research led Amanda to its meaning, resurrection, and something clicked. Her daughter’s sheer existence brought Amanda new life both the moment she was born and every moment since. Her name had a meaning, and it meant something.
This discovery, and a long, introspective look, introduced her to the answer she was searching for all those years: the very name she went by housed her true identity and purpose. With each step into this revelation, Amanda began to accept the unique person she was created to be and, eventually, embrace her. From there, a ministry bearing the meaning of her names was born: Worthy Rebel Ministries. It is Amanda’s greatest honor to live out her identity, leading others to discover and embrace who they were created to be.
